Dovely Tea

 My friend and colleague Yana sent me last week a very lovely packaging design from a new tea brand call "Dovely Tea". I am so impressed by the love and dedication for the production of this Tea. Nowaday more then ever hand made things are priceless and more if they are made with so much love and dedication.

DEAD MEN COOKING

The agency Rocket & Wink in Hamburg illustrated this hard core cook book. I discovered this book because a friend of  mine work on it.  "Dead men cooking" is a cookbook as any other you have seen before specially because food-design always have to look standard appetizing. Something that sometimes can get boring.

But if you are brave enough and you can really illustrate, this is the result.

Today I eat my last jelly snake from "The natural confectionery co."! (sadly) But I am keeping the package because I find the illustrations on the cover from Jamie Nash very cool.

Dragons love tacos!

I found this book yesterday and it really made me happy. I had´t have it in my hands yet but it looks so cool that I wanna put in in my kitchen now.

Specially since I am a mexican living far, far away from my country. And besides friend and family FOOD is what I missed the most.

 I can understand why Dragons  love tacos, too!

 I spend this weekend in Paris and I met Jan & Daniel friends of my good friend EVA. 

While spending an awesome time at their lovely home they introduced me  to MARIE MADELEINE and since that moment I can´t take the song out of my mind. And I really like the photography on the video, too.

Here comes Anagrama again with an other amazing corporate design. 

This time for a macarons Brand in Monterey Mexico.

I have to accept  that one of my weaknesses are macarons. Since the first time I eat them I felt in love with the taste, form and colors.

That´s why I love this design as well, because it allows the macarons to pop out and be the center of attention. 

(At the moment I am in Paris eating a lot of macarons.)
